The Process of Immediate Dental Implants
In the case of same-day dental implants in Beverly Hills, Dr. Zadeh will immediately place a titanium or zirconia post into the socket where the tooth sits. Once installed, an abutment and crown will be placed, serving as your replacement tooth.
Your temporary and permanent crowns are manufactured in-house using our state-of-the-art CEREC machine. The tooth will be colored and shaped to match the rest of your teeth, ensuring your smile will have a healthy and natural appearance. Do not worry about messy, unpleasant-tasting molding clays! An advanced CAD/CAM machine will take your impressions to create a digital image of your mouth.
While you heal, you are given a temporary crown that will serve as your new tooth. This temporary is used until the dental implant bonds properly to your bone and your surgery heals.
After several months, the implant will bond to your jawbone and become a part of your body. You will likely come in a couple of times before your permanent crown placement to make sure everything is healing properly. This will also ensure necessary adjustments or changes can be made without disrupting the healing process.
