Sometimes in reconstructive and cosmetic dentistry, there is no reason to do what is called a full mouth reconstruction or a full smile makeover. If your teeth are healthy and strong, oral rejuvenation may be all that is called for.
A popular part of anti-aging dentistry, oral rejuvenation addresses worn and irregular teeth. These are teeth that are otherwise in good health. Their aesthetic deficiencies can be resolved with cosmetic dental procedures such as teeth whitening, veneers, tooth bonding, and minor orthodontic work with the use of night-time retainers or Invisalign®.
Who Benefits From Oral Rejuvenation?
As part of an anti-aging dentistry regimen, most patients have no significant issues with their teeth. Mostly, their teeth are healthy but worn or yellowed by the natural aging process. They simply want to ‘freshen up’ their smile beyond what routine cleanings can provide. This can improve a patient’s overall appearance and make them appear 5, 10, and even 15 years younger. Few things can age a person like stained, crooked, and uneven teeth. Many of our patients feel younger and have a new zest for life after their rejuvenation.
When coming in for an oral rejuvenation, Dr. Zadeh will walk you through the steps of what is needed to keep your smile looking its youngest and best! Whether it is as simple as replacing old fashioned amalgam fillings with composite and resin fillings to a smile makeover with the use of veneers, you can find something that will make you look and feel your best. Here are just a few of the patients who have benefited from oral rejuvenation for their worn or irregular teeth:
Meet Andre! Teeth whitening, veneers, and replacement fillings, inlays and onlays, made all the difference:
Andre did not have any specific complaint. When he came in, he told Dr. Zadeh: “Make me young teeth!” His teeth had served him well for the past 40 years. He did not want the age of his teeth to show if he could help it. He wanted to look his absolute best, because he had taken up body building and modeling. Dr Zadeh switched all of the silver fillings in favor of tooth colored porcelain inlays and onlays on his back teeth. He then placed porcelain veneers on his upper front teeth. Note that Dr. Parsa Zadeh, DDS designed the front teeth to conform to a shape and size that was dictated structure of Andre’s face. Dr. Zadeh used special measuring devices that determine the length and width of the front teeth based on the length and width of the face to create a harmonious, attractive look.
Jack’s New Smile
Jack operates a collection business in Los Angeles. When Dr. Zadeh re-designed his front teeth and took into consideration the rectangular shape of his face and his masculine demeanor. Note the parallel-sided teeth with prominent canines. This helped him appear younger, healthier, and more handsome.
Michael’s Oral Rejuvenation
Michael is an architect who had happily used his teeth over the years and was ready to propose to his girlfriend. He was planning to start a new life and wanted better looking teeth. We received the wedding announcement a few months after Dr. Zaeh completed the work! He also looked several years younger after his procedure.
